À propos de cet audio
Do you find that the way your partner treated you in the beginning of the relationship is unrecognizable from the way your partner treats you now? Are you persistently made to feel guilty for voicing your concerns in the relationship?
For the malignant narcissist, visions of their own grandeur mixed with an over-blown sense of entitlement fueled by a shocking lack of empathy, lead to a truly twisted vision of themselves, other people, relationships, and the way the world works. As a result, their partners, siblings, children, even friends and colleagues, often experience at least some form of narcissistic abuse, which is recognized as a type of domestic violence that can lead to deep psychological issues that can be passed from one generation to the next.
In this book, we are going to look at narcissistic abuse from a variety of viewpoints, beginning with the basics of recognizing narcissism in others and ourselves by examining the attitudes and behaviors that mark the narcissist in general and differentiating between benign and malignant narcissism. We will then look at how narcissists work, where they come from, how they see the world and some of their most common tactics including gaslighting and how they use others to do their bidding. From there, we will explore narcissistic abuse syndrome and trauma bonding, how it develops, what the victim experiences, and the warning signs that indicate that you might be suffering from it.
After examining these base principles, we will get more into the dynamics of narcissism in various relationships. This begins with narcissism in family relationships and will cover childrearing with an eye toward recognizing how parents often turn their child into a narcissist, how the culture supports this kind of parenting, and how to keep it from happening. We will then see how we can recognize narcissism early on in childhood, including bullying behavior, and steps that can be taken to set the child on a different path.
Here’s a sneak peek of what you’ll learn with this book:
- The one and only rule to distinguish benign narcissism from narcissistic personality disorder;
- How a narcissist works and what is gaslighting;
- Understand the two main secrets about dealing with narcissistic parents;
- How to end a relationship with a narcissist;
- The 10 questions to understand if you are in love with a narcissist
- And much more.
In Narcissistic Abuse, you will find a roadmap that will guide you all the way from recognizing your narcissist for what they really are to recovering your life from them.
