I found it alright
narrator was the best part for me the story itself is fine but not my cup of tea if your like me and just want to hear everything in the series then this I would consider a filler book otherwise wise unless your into noir type drama then this is a easy pass

Another excellent addition in the series
Was great to have a from the perspective(s) of factions/characters outside of the Astartes (don’t worry, they’re still featured here). Especially liked the detective style side plot from the assassins as well as more light shed on the everyday life of worlds in the Imperium. Love me some grim dark, hot every now and then it’s refreshing to here about average imperial citizens and what life is like for them

Completely skippable and a little sloppy.
There is a very small amount of lore in this book, and there are a few good chapters. The writing in this book is much lower quality than any of the previous titles.
