À propos de cet audio
Las Vegas in 1949 was a vastly different city than the one of today. In 1949, Las Vegas was a bus-stop that made its living from selling tax-free cigarettes. The few casinos that existed were old west saloons. This all changed when Benjamin "Bugsy" Segal built his glitter palace - the Flamingo Hotel. In the ultimate hostile take-over in 1947, "Bugsy" was murdered and new management took over the hotel. The town braced itself for a possible all-out mob war. The war never happened and tensions eased until in 1949 mobster Johnny Del Rio was found murdered execution-style.
State Patrolman Kelly O'Brian and Clark County Sherriff's detective Dick Pearson were assigned to investigate Del Rio's murder. Dick thought it was mob related but Kelly wasn't so sure after he talked to a string of hustlers, hookers, hypes, and hop heads that lived in Johnny's world. Whoever was right about Johnny's death - one thing was clear they had to be careful. The closer they got to the killer the more danger they would be in. What Kelly didn't know was the real danger was much closer than he imagined and it would take all the skill, guts, and luck he could muster as he navigates the neon nights of Las Vegas.
