After finishing my last read, I stumbled upon No Pucking Way on Goodreads and was immediately hooked by the synopsis. A lost memory, a past tangled with dangerous, possessive hockey players, and a shadowy, suspenseful romance? Count me in! And since I was diving in, I figured, why not experience the full effect with the duet-style audio? Best. Decision. Ever. Troy Duran and Alexis Paige absolutely brought this story to life with their incredible narration, making every emotional moment hit even harder.
From the very first chapter, I felt the weight of the heroine’s anguish, the confusion of a past she can’t remember, and the raw, aching tension between her and the men circling her like predators. There’s a deep darkness to this book, one that creeps in slowly, revealing bits and pieces of a painful, dangerous past—but just when you think you’re starting to understand, BOOM… a cliffhanger. And not just any cliffhanger. One that left me wanting to scream. Ugly crying may or may not have been involved.
Sebastian, Carter, and Jack—star hockey players with intense, conflicting emotions—feel oddly familiar. Their former teammate-turned-enemy, Greyson, adds even more mystery to the mix. There’s an intricate, twisted history here, one that No Pucking Way only begins to unravel. Mafia connections, amnesia, second chances—this book somehow blends all these elements into a wild, unforgettable story. It shouldn’t work, but it does. And now, I need more.
If you love dark, intense romance with complex relationships and high-stakes drama, this is a must-read (or must-listen!). Just be warned: you will want the next book ASAP.
