In Nomadic the Unwanted, Brian Shinomiya takes listeners on a suspenseful journey through the eyes of Anatu. The main character, Anatu, finds herself with a sword in hand facing mutated creatures throughout an abandoned building, all while trying to survive the fall of society. This gruesome short story has an apocalyptic setting where scavengers search for treasure and mutated creatures hunt for the flesh of those dead or alive.
Hundreds of years since the fall of humans and told through the eyes of a skilled and rebel-like fighter named Anatu. She's on an endless journey for hope, and throughout her dangerous lifestyle of survival, we find Anatu's luck sliding across thin ice, ready to break at any moment. With her cat-like eyes and the ability to hear five times farther than a human, she's a rare and incredible being, alone in the chaos of the apocalypse. She doesn't know her true nature given the lack of those like her, but her appearance is similar to other humans. With arms, legs, and a tall posture, Anatu's bloody lifestyle will keep you on the edge of your seat.
