This is a solid series.
Joey is the new captain of the Darby U hockey team. On the outside, he seems like the golden boy, but he is dealing with a lot of trauma that started when he was young and he hasn’t been dealing with it. Nick is on the football team and also has some trauma from his past. Joey is extremely cautious to start anything with Nick because he is not out to his teammates and is scared of everyone’s reactions. Nick is very good at calming Joey’s anxiety and taking it slow. I really loved their relationship.

Sooo good!!
The book was the perfect mix of angst, heat and comedy. I so so wish there is a second follow up to these characters.

Loved this one!
Loved the characters and the narration was top notch. There were scenes that had me crying and banter and moments where I was laughing out loud! 10/10!
