Blessed

On my search for through black literature regarding pregnancy, this was Exactly what I was looking for. The craving to hear/get a black woman’s perspective and a virtual hug from a sister. Although this is my second pregnancy, this book has been a blessing. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I will be purchasing this book for my girlfriends during their own pregnancies. So blessed.

Quite a bit of outdated and under-researched info

While I appreciate being about to read/listen to a pregnancy book from the voice of a black woman, I think it's really important for anyone reading this to also refer to medical professionals on much of the information shared here. A lot of it is opinion-based and then cherry-picking resources to fit that opinion. This is really clear when the author states: "If this seems one-sided, it's not meant to be.". That's a pretty clear red-flag that the author or their editor should have seen as an indication to do more homework.
