Orphan Oliver Twist is born into the grimmest of 19th century English workhouses and had little but a life of grinding poverty ahead of him. Oliver throws himself into a life of petty crime but things change again and soon he finds himself in the home of the wealthy Mr. Brownlow. Yet even there he isn’t safe from Fagin and his dangerous colleague Bill Sykes…
