 Taylor Markham is now a senior at the Jellicoe School, and has been made leader of the boarders. She has to keep her students safe and the territories enforced and to deal with Jonah Griggs - the leader of the cadets and someone she'd rather forget. But what she needs to do, more than anything, is unravel the mystery of her past and find her mother - who abandoned her on the Jellicoe Road six years before. Macauley Brings this Great Tale to Life!

Despite it being an award-winning book, I don't feel like many know, let alone have read this great book from Melina Marchetta. And this is a shame! It's a great story about and for teens - with great characters that they will find easy to relate to, an engaging, twisting plot that is part drama, part mystery...and all of it taking place in Australia, making Macauley's voice perfect as narrator. This is well-worth the read/listen. All with whom I have shared it feel the same. #Audible1
