First, the narration was terrible. Not so bad that I couldn't get through it, but yeah, it was still very bad. Listen to a clip before buying to see how you feel about it.
The story was straightforward but solid, and very gruesome in spots. I was ok with most of it, but there is a scene of severe animal cruelty near the beginning that I'm still a little upset but. Just an FYI.
The other thing is, one character does not get the ending I wish they did. I hate endings where the bad guy gets away. There is too much of that in real life, you know? But otherwise, I liked it.
