À propos de cet audio
Today, artist Joshua Holmes is secure in Christ, at peace with his timing, eager to create, and ready to overcome any life obstacle.
In 38 years, he faced a myriad of struggles before arriving at a place of acceptance. Born a fighter from day one, he defied misdiagnoses, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy. After brain surgery, against all odds, he adjusted to newly acquired disabilities including visual and sensory deficits. He acknowledged stigma, embraced failure, set creative goals, and discovered his place in the world.
An academic and a professional, he later persisted after repeated seizures in the classroom and workplace and navigated the disarray they left behind. With faith and endurance, he trusted God to lead him through three different colleges and into a rewarding freelance career.
In this remarkable autobiography, Joshua Holmes paints a stellar picture. He recounts a life of trial, accomplishment, survival, and blessing. Introspective, informative, fast-paced, and filled with irony, Painting the Whole Picture is a harrowing tale you won’t want to stop listening to.
