This is a really good book especially if you liked Easy Riders. If you are interested in the big tv shows from the past 25 years this book has you covered. The only thing I think the author missed is that he glazed over The Wire. Otherwise, very interesting to hear about the backstory of the major shows, companies, and the personalities involved in them. If we believe the author, (and he is likely right) tv is not in a great place these days and we will have to go through a drought for a while before new innovations come. fortunately we have good books like this to help ease the way!
