So begins Percy Jackson's Greek Gods, in which the son of Poseidon adds his own magic - and sarcastic asides - to the classics. He explains how the world was created, then gives listeners his personal take on a who's who of ancients, from Apollo to Zeus. Percy does not hold back: "If you like horror shows, blood baths, lying, stealing, backstabbing, and cannibalism, then read on, because it definitely was a Golden Age for all that."

Jesse makes this book
I enjoyed it overall. If you want to learn about greek gods, i cant imagine a more entertaining way to do it. Jesse Bernstien never wavers as Percy's character. Its full of jokes.

The book’s highlight’s
The book was hilarious and I enjoyed it thoroughly. You will never get tired of listening to it and will be entertained throughout the whole book. Rick Riordan seems to find a way always to entertain you so that you never get bored or tired.
