À propos de cet audio
There’s a massive problem in the way we run our largest and most powerful organisations. Short-termism and herd mentality is endemic. It’s reinforced by investors, LTIP models, and group think. As we grapple with the economic consequences of Brexit and design a bounce-back from the Covid-19 pandemic, we need to embrace a bolder, more ambitious model for leadership.
More of the same won’t cut it!
Philip Clarke has spent the last 20 years advising Europe’s largest businesses, launching disruptive start-ups, and hanging out with the leaders who are genuinely building the future. This experience, together with a research programme spanning thousands of leaders in hundreds of major businesses, has given him a clear perspective on the characteristics of pioneers and the desperate need for Pioneer Leadership. In Pioneers Wanted, he explores the eight principles that set Pioneer Leaders apart.
Now, more than ever, leaders need to think and behave like pioneers. It’s the blueprint for a better future for our largest and most important organisations - and therefore for all of us.

A healthy dose of what big business needs
I loved this. A really well articulated manifesto that is overdue for corporate innovation. We need more thinking like Phil's in every established organization.
