Description
Is your child sometimes stressed from school, from learning, from quarreling with you as a parent, sibling or friend? Or maybe it is afraid of something and is totally tense and annoyed? What does your child do then? What to do with all the tension? This audio book brings your child and you closer to the relaxation process:
- In a unique and child-friendly manual, you and your child can understand the meaning and purpose of this recognized training and your child will be curious to use PMR once.
- To make it easier for children to get started with this method, SyncSouls has picked out some specific PMR exercises and combined them with a beautiful fantasy journey (20 minutes play time). Experience has shown that children learn a relaxation method very easily, with a lot of fun and very playfully.
The Progressive Muscle Relaxation (also called PMR) was developed in the 1920s by the American physician and Professor Edmund Jacobson. He recognized that by the purposeful tightening and relaxing of individual muscle groups the human being is able to put his body into a deep relaxation. In the meantime, this method has been established for almost all age groups and is recognised by health insurance companies.
In our performance-oriented time, psychological and physical tension can be observed more and more frequently in children. It can be beneficial for children to learn PMR at an early age. This gives you the opportunity to use this relaxation method in a targeted way, e.g. in everyday school life, and to relax sustainably. PMR has a positive effect against: concentration disorders, sleep disorders, tension, school stress, headaches and fears.
