Read by the author
What a great book! I recommend it. It gives you a clear enough account of what he says he saw up there...no one really knows but bottom line is it's all about LOVE!!! Good book! Check it out!

Absolutely validated what I know to be true
I’ve spent a lot of time processing experiences I’ve had, thinking about how they fit into the common understanding of cosmology and comparing them to wisdom and stories from ancient religions, philosophy, and the like.
It sounds like should I read Eben Alexander’s next book “Map of Heaven” I might find myself even further vindicated.

Great that it comes from a doctor
I dont agree with everything he says but overall it was good. He does not understand the nature of rebirth and Kamma based on what he says about it. All things are impermanent, nothing is forever including heaven.

Beautiful Experience
Narrator did a great job conveying his thoughts in spite of the fact that it is basically impossible to share the experiences he had through words. I was moved and felt inner peace in hearing Eben's story.

Insightful but with distractions
This book is very insightful and convincing and I'm grateful for the author's perspective.
Unfortunately, the author's references to Christian religion were irritating to me, to the point of being distracting. I wonder if the text would be more accessible to readers without those references, especially for readers like myself who are allergic to traditional religion, whose evils did so much pernicious harm to humanity. The surgeon is merely sharing his own beliefs, of course, but he did want to be heard by all.
