love this story keeps me engaged and before I knew it the story was over. I still am getting use to the new narrator not to say that it was a necessarily bad I think it is more how peak Travis is. Even when it comes to preforming female rolls I've never had a narrator who is able to develope a character with voice alone like Travis does. Travis is the true God spell and possibly the Legacy of narration. excited for the anime coming this year hopefully they do your story justice turtleme you have a gem here. happy to hear you have been directly involved in its production

Love the Story...
Love the story, Love Travis Baldree but I unfortunately have to agree with the other reviews about Elizabeth Evans, everything she says seems to be this breathy thought process in the middle of this book it feels like she's trying to turn every character and chapter into a romance novel, I skip over her parts.

Predictable & Unsatisfying
I enjoyed the voice acting.
Travis has done an exceptional job bring the characters to life.
Liz’ has done an incredible job as well, but her inclusion this late in the series wasn’t the best choice.
I’m waiting to hear specific inflections in her voice to cue the character transitions that I’ve come to know with Travis, but it’s a jarring experience going from familiar to unfamiliar.
If Podium had Liz play the female characters and Travis the males, the transition wouldn’t have been so jarring.
Anyways, it was a good listen, but probably not a constant repeat.
Story = Meh.
Performance = Great.
Overall = Worth the listen.

Great series, but…
Cecilia has to be the most irritating character. She supplants a great character and has zero work ethic, seems totally incurious with no desire to learn how her unearned powers work, and always has a SwissArmy workaround for whoever or whatever is attacking her or for whoever she is attacking. Pure godmode.
There, I said it.
Otherwise great series. Great narration.

Amazing story bad female narrator
This story is one of my favorite of all time. They author or Audible has made the worst decision bringing in Elizabeth Evans. She’s monotone with the same voices for every woman. She even mispronounced the second word in this book. As much as I love Travis Baldree I don’t think I’ll buy the next book if Elizabeth is on it.
I can’t wait for the show to start in April!

the storry
i saw someone here leaving a review saying it need a tv show, well my friend, i dont know if you will ever see this review but there is an anime comming for tbate (this book series) 2025 is the date we have for now. if you cant wait you could also do a quick search for the manwha of the series.
as for a real review, it's good but i still do wish travis did all of the book. especially when the same character end up with 2 different voice in 2 chapter back to back. elizabeth need to exhale out of the microphone after reading a sentence.

Two Narrators
I understand Travis needing help. However the format of each narrator reading entire chapters disassociates me from the story. Each character having 2 voices and personalities is unpleasant and Elizabeth does not have a very good range for male voices. On top of that, Elizabeth needs a different microphone. This isn't ASMR. I don't want to hear every breath she takes. Every. Single. Breath.
