Miller "Buck" Butterson has been banging his way through life ever since a puck to the face fixed his messed-up front teeth. After five years in the NHL, deflecting goals on the ice and scoring them with puck bunnies, Miller has decided he's ready for a girlfriend. A real, nonbunny girlfriend to take on dates and not jump into bed with after five seconds of conversation.
Miller thinks he's found that woman in his teammate's sister. Except, unlike team captain and all-around nice guy Alex Waters - who happens to date his stepsister - Miller's media reputation as a manwhore is well earned. Beyond that minor detail, Miller doesn't know the first thing about relationships or the time and effort they require.
Miller learns - eventually - that if he wants to make Sunshine "Sunny" Waters fall for him, he's going to have to do a whole lot more than show her his stick skills in the bedroom.

Not as good as the first
The first book was way better. Author needs to know more about Canada we don’t have to pay out of pocket for med bills

Great solo man
Joe did an amazing job narrating this solo. And his voice ain’t half bad. Ok it’s hot. The only thing is I would have given up on that flippy Sunny way sooner. That being said, I would love to find a man with that kind of love and devotion.
Can’t wait for part three.

Should have had 2 narrator's
I would like to start with the comment that the book itself was ok, but the narrator was terrible at portraying the woman's part that it made me hate the woman and in turn not really enjoy the book at all, I didn't even finish it.
I will say the narrator did a great job on the guy character though, just wish it had a his and hers voices.I definitely don't waste my money on anymore of these books with a single narrator, however I would buy them to read myself , I think that would be better in the future .

It was okay
The MFC was immature which low key drive me nuts during the book. It was okay thought it kept me engaged enough to finish.

Buck Butterson for the win!!
Helena Hunting is the master of the romcom. Miller and Sunny are the most lovable couple and the banter between Miller and his sister Violet is epically hilarious! Joe Arden is perfect as Miller. Loved this audio!!!

It’s Alright
Yeah, it’s not as good as the first one. Miller (Buck) and Sunny are ok but I just loved Violet and Alex more from the first book, she was hilarious.
I didn’t really like that it was one guy that voiced both male and female characters. I almost DNF’d this book, came back after a couple of months and just powered through and it got more interesting. I really didn’t like Alex in this book, he was unnecessarily a hot head. He almost messed up a lot of things also with Vi. Otherwise good read. I think I keep going because I’m very genuinely curious about every characters story and growth

Boring
there wasn't much variation to the storyline and very boring. Narrator is terrible and his Canadian accent or woman voice is horrible. Super distracting. Not enjoyable at all
