REVs are the super-soldiers of the future, chemically enhanced marines producing the performance-enhancing drug Rev naturally in their bodies. Now, there are supermen and -women walking among us. Are they here to save humanity, or replace it? Only time will tell.

The story continues: After Zac Murphy and Angus Price are fired from their jobs as leaders of the REV fleet that's been expanding the human stellar empire, a new danger appears in the Outer Reaches: A super-race capable of smashing humanity like a bug. As all of the Union's past gains are lost, Earth is desperate for salvation. They find it in the unlikely union of mortal enemies - Zac and Dr. David Cross. They need Zac's leadership and superhuman abilities. They also need Cross' new breed of mega-soldiers, the natural-born REVs he's been working to create for half a century. But what does this mean for the future of mankind? Will our ultimate fate come from an outside threat? Or will it come from within?

This is military science fiction at its best, with gigantic space battles, exotic alien encounters, and supermen and -women fighting desperately for the survival of the human race.
