I should have returned it when I still had a chance. It threw me from the beginning as the narrator sounded elderly but the main character was in her 40’s so I felt the narrator wasn’t a good fit sound wise. Then the story dragged on past the half way point. I almost totally gave up on it and the ending wasn’t anything worth waiting for. It’s too bad as I had been waiting for this book for quite some time.
