Great story! Excellent presentation!

The storyline and characters were well developed. Ray Porter does a great job presenting it. Highly recommended.

Rechs Goes Punisher

Great story that gives insight in the enigmatic Tyrus Rechs. The change of narrator didn't bother me as I'm a fan or Ray Porter as well, different style than R.C. Bray but who says you can't like more than one style? The story felt a bit like Rechs meets Punisher, which I was totally OK with. Some of the battle scenes got a bit long in my opinion and I may have lost attention a few times but I also tend to listen to the books while doing something else so that might just be me. Overall, great story within the Galaxy's Edge universe.

Good book, excellent story telling!

good story and frankly Ray Porter could read the phone book and i would pay to listen to it.
high hopes for the rest of the series!

Nice and light...

The narrator was fine. So was the story. It was a fun listen that touched a few themes that I find interesting. But it is also light on making demands on the reader. I have a lot of time for listening to such books once in a while.

satisfying

the timing on the naration was a little strange, and the story was predictable, and slightly repetetive. we arent listening because its an opus. its a satisfying simple tale involving one of the great characters of galaxy's edge

Good story but lacking depth

I enjoyed the story and relished in the action but this book didn’t deliver on any deep characterization. All the other books of Galaxy’s edge all have action and adventure but where they really shine is in the emotional characterization we see in the protagonist. The character of Tyrus Rechs is as emotional as a boulder and while that fits the character it is a little unfulfilling. I would like to see some more depth from Tyrus.

Slow start, pretty good ending

"Apex Legends / The Mandelorian" the novel

While entertaining I did not feel enough depth in this novel. It is one big gun fight where the main character has super armor with "aim-bot" enabled.
