Excellent!
I've been learning and growing and enjoying John Eldredge's Pause App so much that I wanted more of this and this book is just that. I love how John continues to encourage and lead you into a deeper relationship with Christ. This is a book I will keep reading and re-reading. I highly recommend this book.

Restorative. Just what I needed.
This listen helped to draw me out of the 3 year spiritual desert I’ve been walking through as I learn to parent two kids. I downloaded the pause app and it has been very helpful to center my thoughts and feelings instead of drifting about with the news. John puts words to what every human heart is crying out. Thank you!

Perhaps John Eldridge’s best book ever!
Thank you John for conveying your God inspired message in such a down to earth manner - honest, open and and so so TIMELY !!

Why?
Because it deals directly with imminent end times and our salvation - and how we need to “Center with Christ” and look forward to Gods Kingdom which is right before us.
Instead many will “look back” trying to cling to and preserve or recreate our best memories … to establish (or reestablish) our own version of a more desirable worldly kingdom. We can so easily loose sight of our promised eternal heavenly treasure because we “looked back” like Lots wife (as Jesus directly warned).
