When Karma and her fellow Suburban Moms take on troublemakers, things spin out of control and somebody dies. Accidentally. It starts when a speeding car hits Karma's daughter, and the cops can't find the driver. The Moms find and punish the culprit before the police get a chance. Is this justice or vigilantism? Then teenagers expose themselves to little girls on the playground. They definitely need to be taught a lesson...
Between fighting crime, cooking dinner, and bickering with each other, the moms contend with over-the-top kid birthday parties, escaped boa constrictors, and the humiliation of being the last parent at preschool pickup. Trouble escalates when an obnoxious neighbor turns out to be a wife-beater, and the moms go full-on vigilante. He must be stopped, but the Moms stop him more permanently than they intended. Suddenly their quiet neighborhood is overrun with satellite TV trucks and well-coiffed reporters. In the end, it may turn out that the moms have been manipulated all along by someone even more clever and devious than themselves.
