About the Creator

Kristen Ashley is the New York Times bestselling author of over 80 romance novels. She’s a hybrid author, publishing titles both independently and traditionally. Her books have been translated in 14 languages and she’s sold millions of books. In March, she released the The Girl in The Woods, the second in her romantic thriller series, Misted Pines. And her latest audiobook is Perfect Together, a second chance romance that will break your heart and then put it back together stronger than before. She also published Too Good To be True, her first-ever murder mystery romance in an episodic format on Kindle Vella. Kristen, born in Gary and raised in Brownsburg, Indiana, and was a fourth-generation graduate of Purdue University. Since, she has lived in Denver, the West Country of England, and she now resides in Phoenix. She worked as a charity executive for 18 years prior to beginning her independent publishing career. She now writes full-time. Although romance is her genre, the prevailing themes running through all of Kristen’s novels are friendship, family and a strong sisterhood. A fun ride

Any fan of Kristen Ashley will enjoy this audiobook. Susannah Jones imbues both Indy and Lee with personality, giving extra life to a story that reads a little over-the-top, which is aided by her ability to differentiate the other characters.This makes for a story that draws listeners in, so much so that it is hard to stop listening, and acts as the perfect introduction to the series.

Loved it!

An unbelievably fun book filled with laughed out loud antics and a sweet history filled romance that leaves you laughing and swooning. This series is hilarious, entertaining, spicy and unique. I’ve loved this series for a decade and these audiobooks - beautifully performed - were like experiencing it new again. Fortnum’s is a place everyone is welcome to love books, good coffee and be their authentic selves - it’s wonderful to feel like your there with these audiobooks.

Hilarious & Sweet

I personally loved listening to this book. I laughed the whole way through even though the main character was annoying and ditzy I know some gals like that so I could relate. I thoroughly enjoyed it and it was definitely entertaining. I'll listen to this book again when I need to smile and LMAO.

Amazingly awesome!

AAAANNNNNDDDD I get it!!! I FLOVED THIS BOOK!!! I became a fan of this authour with several of her other series, building up to the one that everyone knows and loves, Rock Chick. It was finally time and there was only good, no bad, only awesome, no let-down, only perfection, no flaws, in the characters, in the story, in the premise. Lots of smiles, a few tears, and dialogue and action that kept me hopping <3

Funny!

Such a good time! These characters are hilarious. Their interactions and relationships were so fun to read a chuckle over. The romance between Indie and Li was good but the level of misogyny was a bit too much for me. Li’s character needed more development because he’s portrayed as only a few steps up from caveman and he’s supposed to be quite a bit more than that. But overall, this was a fun time.

Alpha heroes are an acquired taste

The narrator was superb. Lee was an overbearing, annoying a-hole. Alpha heroes aren't my cup of tea. Wish Lee and Indie a long, happy life. If all Ms Ashley's main, male characters are like I might just move on.
