À propos de cet audio
A rogue for every lady…
London, 1817. Stuck in a Mayfair ballroom thanks to his love-struck brother, highlander Arran MacLawry wants nothing but a bit of distraction from an arranged betrothal, and a clever, auburn-haired lass in a vixen's mask promises just that - until he discovers that she's the granddaughter of the Campbell, chief of clan MacLawry's longtime rival. Despite their families' grudging truce, falling for fiery Mary Campbell is a notion too outlandish even for this Highlander.
The thrill of the forbidden…
Raised on tales of savage MacLawrys, Mary is stunned to realize that the impressively strapping man in the fox's mask is one of them. Surely the enemy shouldn't have such a broad chest and such a seductive brogue. It's not that her curiosity matters as any dalliance between them is strictly forbidden, and she is promised to another. But with the crackling spark between them ready to catch flame, love is worth every risk.

Narration Frustration
A Rogue with a Brogue is the 2nd book in this Highland series focussing on the Marquis of Glengorik and all the MacLawry siblings. This particular story focuses on Aaron, the 2nd son and heir to the Marquis. I enjoyed this tale and liked how it flowed immediately from book 1, Ranulf's story. What was disconcerting was the change in narrator's. Unfortunately, this narrator does not do a great job with male voices. It is difficult to picture a strong, big, sexy highlander when their voice is not deep and strong but more gulp like. Yet, the most distracting was the narrator's continued mis- pronunciation of Sassenach. Phonetically pronounced SASS EN ACK. This author's pronunciation would not be recognized if the listener was not familiar with the term and its use by Highlanders. In fact, the narrator finishes out the series and continues the mis-pronunciation. One would think it would have been caught? Nope. Too bad.
The story itself continued in the style of the first and captured my attention. Even though the narration was distracting, it wasn't enough to quit the stories.
