All around an excellent listen
Always thought the movie was spooky. the book, read aloud, even more so.
GREAT story, better as literature and I must say having the movie's star narrating, made it even more poignant. Loved it. Mia has always had a retro homie housewife innocence voice that was PERFECT!

Amazing listen
The narrator was fantastic. I saw the movie for the first time in the last year or so and ended up really liking it. I am so glad I listened to the book. The movie came shockingly close to the book.

Fast Paces & Thrilling
A short & thrilling read. As a scared-y cat in terms of horror movies & music - the adding of music to the dream-like sequences was a bit startling. Other than that, I loved this book & narrator!

Average but Entertaining Scare
This book has been described as "A Slow Burn". That's a generous way of saying "plodding". The plot from Ira Levin is immersive and the occult subject matter terrifying, but his pacing is substandard - the first 3/4 of the novel moves slowly, only eventually peppering the narrative with laughably improbable "red flags" in the final two chapters. The chilling climax arrives a little too abruptly and was spoiled for me (having seen the brilliant Polanski film), although it's clearly set up as the payoff for readers.
That said, I liked this book. "HIS EYES!! ... WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HIS EYES!?!" is one of the most memorable lines ever delivered in a horror story. Additionally, descriptions are vivid, dialogue is dated but realistic, and characters are a little clichéd but relatable.
It must be noted that Mia Farrow is a talented actress but a below-average reader. Her performance of Rosemary Woodhouse is - as expected - excellent (she knows the character intimately and portrays her fears/horror most effectively), and her overall pacing is superlative.. but the rest of the narration is subpar. Her reading volume is uncontrolled (going from whispery to shouting), and other than for Rosemary, Farrow's voice-acting is *terrible* (all the characters - male and female - sound the same). Tone, cadence, and timbre during delivery of the main text are notably weak.
Considering the flaws in structure, hit and miss narration, and poor sound editing, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this audiobook. It's captivating, creepy, and worth a Credit. I rate it 7 stars out of 10.

Entertaining
An entertaining, quick listen. It had me pretty hooked and held my interest. I’m not crazy about horror movies, especially ones involving satanic stuff, but listening to the book was just the right amount of creepiness and gore.
