Vivid world and complex relationship
In this book we see more of the relationships between Nox and his people, as well as how Aria navigates the politics of being behind enemy lines.
It’s much more complicated to see everything from different perspective and very well written. Nox slowly becomes less “hot and cold” as we start to peer beneath the armour and understand why he does what he does.
The performances are excellent, especially the side characters like Lor and Greer.
Overall pace of the story is good and we finally get to meet Nox’s creature. Looking forward to the next book.

I think it was better the third reread
It is just a amazing book. If you’ve made it this far in the series, I probably don’t need to tell you that. This book has it all and Amelia is a absolute queen. If you haven’t started the series yet, do it, trust me it’s worth it.

Lore is still the best. Book was bit more world buildy, but I loved it.

Loved it 🤩
Absolutely awesome! LOT9R is my fav series so far and this audio version is just as amazing if not more than reading the actual books. The narrators are a perfect fit for these characters I think and the telling of the story is so captivating. Loved every second!
