Story of a man that has little value to other live
The story is OK rambles a bit but overall moves forward at a decent pace. I enjoyed the story the suspense in how he would get caught and the end was predictable and likely could have been done a little better from the suspense side but overall a good story.

greatly entertaining despite a rough start
narrator was great. i say rough start as it almost lost me going cold into mind of a serial killer rather than easing into it, and transition between two main leads was convoluted until the story picked up steam. great listen, understanding it's entertainment and less grounded in realism

almost sent this back
I was pretty horrified during the first few chapters of this book but decided to stick with it. I'm so glad I did. Those first few chapters were integral to the end

What a surprise
Audible recommended this book. It’s was great. The author must have been a police officer or had family in the business. The connotation felt so accurate. I enjoyed this book so much I started the series. I’m only on book 4, but the book have been great so far.

Female Performances Requires.
I enjoyed the story and was mostly attentive and engaged. Narrator, Richard Ferrone, is easy to listen to with the exception of his attempt at female voices.
Here I must emphasize the that the narrator’s portrayal was seriously lacking. Female characters sounded bland, unintelligent, uninteresting and uninspired. A true shame. At least one female would significantly improve the performance.

It was okay but not his best series
I like his other series better. Didn't warm up to the character of Lucas. He seemed like a bit of a pig always sleeping around. The story was just ok and the killer wasn't intriguing enough. not sure if I will read another book in this series.
