"Ryan Retribution" delivers an emotional ride that I wasn't fully prepared for. Sadie Kincaid wraps up her New York Ruthless series with an epic, heart-wrenching finale that hits all the marks. If you've been following Jessie and the Ryan brothers through the first three cliffhanger-filled books, you know the stakes are high. Book four is no exception, starting right where the last one ended, and it’s packed with non-stop action, drama, and suspense.
Kincaid masterfully weaves an emotional journey that had me in tears for most of the book. The story touches on heavy subjects, so please be mindful of the trigger warnings, but if you're ready to dive in, expect intense emotions and twists that keep you on your toes.
This book ties up a lot of storylines neatly while still managing to throw in surprises. Jessie’s past with the Wolf takes center stage, and the tension is palpable as secrets unravel. The sizzling hot scenes add another layer of intensity, and the deeper look into the Ryan brothers' past helps you understand their bond even more.
The ending is explosive, and although I had my suspicions about the Wolf’s true identity, the reveal was still a jaw-dropper. If you've stuck with this series, you’re in for a satisfying (yet emotionally exhausting) conclusion.
On a final note, while this is technically the end of the main storyline, there is a fifth book that acts like a long epilogue, following up on the events from this epic finale.
