Saved by its ending.
I have been following this story since I first discovered it on Royalroad (4 or 5 years ago) and I have always enjoyed it. This series was one of the few SciFi litrpgs and probably the best. This book however does not live up to those that came before it. This book is hampered by lack of personal connections and the amount of betrayals that occur. The ending however was definitely worth it though, so if you enjoyed the previous books I would definitely recommend sticking with this one until the end because book 4 is going to be a wild ride.

5 stars for the ending
Pretty good series, overall. It's always nice to anticipate an event and be pleased by its occurrence anyway. The author threw a couple of curve balls, but with enough hints that there wasn't any whiplash, per se.

Felt like a rushed ending
Overall this series has been good. I feel like this book is the last one and there are things that felt rushed to wrap up. A few events didn't make sense and felt like they happened just to quickly end the series. Great performance by Nick P. as always.

Really Good, Amazing Narration
I am not surprised Nick did an amazing job narrating such a good story.
I went through all 3 books non-stop during a rare break from work. Of course this was not the plan but the story was so good I could not press pause. Maybe Eve took over my need for social interaction until the final Epilogue.
Book 4 pretty please.

Hot Garbage
The first 2 books are awesome. If you have already read them just stop there and pretend the series is over because this book was hot garbage. So many various characters and plot points introduced and then completely abandoned. Random “important” events occur and then suddenly don’t matter anymore.
I can’t be bothered to spend any more energy on this review, which is probably what the author said about writing this third book too. It was unbelievably rushed. You can tell they just wanted to finish the story and be done because everything is so disjointed, patched together, and rushed.
This is all unfortunate because the first 2 books were actually amazing. Sad the series had to end like this.

ending...
I had read high reviews of the ending. I didn't like it at all and without spoiling it, I feel like I have wasted 3 credits and about 35 hours of my life.
