Written for an older crowd
It was really diff to relate to any of the characters and the way the author explains some things feels occasionally patronizing or redundant. Anyone under fifty will likely have a hard time getting through this book.
It’s charming, bordering on predictable, and slightly out of touch with reality. It’s not terrible.
Some of the dialogue/exposition also needs a new editor. Overall, the pace really drags. Not my cup of egg nog, but if you want an escape from the real world and a silly gal-pal romp on the South Atlantic , you may have a wonderful experience with this book. Cheers!

Entertaining and Enjoyable!
This was a very entertaining and fun listen. It reminds me of Sex in the City. I was looking for something to keep my interest that was light and comical, and this definitely did the trick!
