Description
The Federation has found a resource capable of delivering the necessary advantage to finally win the long war against the Bugs. The only problem is the Bugs have found it first. Desperate to end the war, the Federation mobilizes its legions from across the galaxy to launch the largest invasion in human history. Millions of soldiers will be thrown into the fray on a hostile planet where the brutal geography makes conventional warfare impossible.
Sargent Braddock of the Federation Cavalry is a combat-hardened veteran and an expert at fighting Bugs. He knows that when it comes to the Bug War, no two deployments are the same. But what he doesn’t know is how drastically different this one will be. In order to snatch victory from the jaws of chaos, he will have to rethink everything he knows about combat, Bugs, and himself. Weighed down by the increasing pressures of leadership, Braddock struggles to find a balance between following obscene orders and being responsible for the lives of his soldiers.
Despite Braddock’s reservation, the Federation mandates that the planet must be taken at all costs. What they fail to realize is that taking this planet could cost them everything.

Amazing book for a first time author!
This was a great book. Good story and use of language. I would recommend the read if you are into this kind of genre. I cannot wait for the story to continue!

A Great Sci Fi Action
The story is interesting, in combination with the voice actor it made it hard for me to stop listening. Kinda reminds me of the movie Starship Troopers and the computer game StarCraft. Overall I really enjoyed it.

Exciting military sci-fi with some cool twist
This is very much a character driven story that uses a good mix of cliches and unique and dynamic characters. Even though ive never fought bugs in space i felt like the characters were very relatable. The action and epic battles were entertaining and the narrator does a great job of building excitement. Very engaging book overall. Would recommend it for anyone who enjoys action, military sci-fi, or space opera. I think fantasy fans might enjoy it too. I love the fact that this story make cavalry charges into a plausible combat method in a space marine type setting

Top Class
Love this book. Gave me Earthcore vibes. Great mix of action, mystery, the authors sense of humor really shines through and a very unexpected ending. Cant wait to see what comes next. 10/10 would recommend.
