À propos de cet audio
Mark Dawson's Group Fifteen Files. Quick, lightning-paced action from the first minute to the last.
They call him 'Scorpion'. No-one knows his real name, and the only people who have seen his face are dead. He works for the highest bidder, and he's never missed a target.
The assassin appears in London with the name of an investigative reporter on his list. But has Scorpion met his match? The reporter has a protector - John Milton. And Milton might be the only man in the world more dangerous than him.

Reads Like Exceptional Fan-Fiction
Steve Cavanagh provides a thrilling cat & mouse battle between two incredible assassins: a renegade Soviet contract killer codenamed 'Scorpion' and Group 15's legendary John Milton. The plot is a little simplistic and scenes are occasionally cliché, but the action is paced flawlessly, the descriptions are vivid, and the tension is palpable. Cavanagh clearly loves the concept and characters that Mark Dawson developed and runs with the idea.
Please Note: No-one will ever confuse this story with "literature" - and the characters are cartoonishly superficial - but this short episode delivers exactly what is promised: an adrenaline-fuelled romp. Fans of 'Orphan X', 'Mitch Rapp', or even 'Jack Reacher' will recognize this story as similar quality fare (perhaps even a little better).
I must say that I am impressed with the narration skills of David Thorpe, too. He is by no means perfect (his voice-acting isn't particularly impressive, for example), but Mr. Thorpe was an excellent casting choice from Audible Studios Inc.
Dawson's stated purpose in developing the collaborations that make up the 'Group Fifteen Files' series of wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am offerings was to provide one-off action-packed infusions for his fans. In this 9/10 short at least, he succeeded. Yes, it was offered for free as part of my Audible subscription, but it would be worth money. Well done.
