Absolutely incredible story - had me captivated from beginning to end! The narrator was able to keep the distinct voices from one character to another throughout the book for an amazing listening experience.

Amazing, just amazing.
A rollercoaster of emotions as I listened to this story unfold. The author does a beautiful job of presenting the perspectives of the characters, especially the female characters. There's so much rich content for audiences to delve into conversations about culture, gender, immigration, migration, and so much more. Really beautifully done!

Made me miss my family :(
I've lived away from my family for almost 10 years now and listening to this book made me miss them terribly.
Very well written and narrated and wish it hadn't ended so soon.
Can't wait to get started with one of her other books.
