À propos de cet audio
Have you ever felt burdened by tradition? Or second-guessed your uniqueness because of society?
Men and women around the world spend their lives conforming to norms. They forget the value of their time, putting their shoulders on the wheel for the role they are trying to fulfil. Women are at the short end of the bargain in most instances, but men don’t always have it easy. When it comes to marriage or sex, there are expectations on both sides. As we explore the roles we play or the responsibilities we assume, it becomes apparent that much of our discontent emerges from marital struggle or sexual tension.
We build our dream home on the shaky ground of tradition and wonder why there are so many tremors. Tradition does not leave space for uniqueness. You as an individual don’t matter to the herd. The world is progressing at a blindingly fast pace, but our views on sex and marriage have not transformed in a significant way. Although newer ideas are developing on the fringes of society, they get rejected by the mainstream. We must start thinking deeply, or else we will end up being sacrificial lambs to the god of tradition.
