À propos de cet audio
Shango and the Amazing Magical Confidence Spell is part of a series that aims to deal with a number of childhood issues, such as sleep, phobias, anxiety, and anger, using direct suggestion and repetition. This book deals specifically with shyness and confidence.
Lacking in confidence can take different forms in children. It might be chronic shyness (social anxiety disorder), lack of self-worth, inappropriate silence (selective mutism), lacking in confidence in sports or exams, and so on. This book is designed to subliminally give the child positive suggestion to improve their confidence, however if the condition is effecting the child's health or the problem persists, then it is advisable to seek the opinion of a professional in the field or your GP/physician.
Shango books are based around the central character of Shango Tidbog. Shango and his friends, using magic spells, aim to help children. Tidbogs live in both the real world and the "Dream World", where they have the power to help their special friends (the child) and confer spells upon them given by Tidbog wizards, known as Wizbogs.
All the books have a common thread to improve positivity and happiness within the child. Therefore not only will the books alleviate or even nullify the child's specific issue but, in addition, aim to leave them with a happier and more positive disposition.
The books are not intended as traditional stories for children; the emphasis is on the book being a tool for the parent to help their children overcome the specific childhood issues that concern the child or parent. The books are not intended as a replacement for medical treatment but more as an addition to it where applicable.
