À propos de cet audio

Awakening wounded in a darkened cell, their psychic abilities blocked, Aden and Zaira know they must escape. But when the lethal soldiers break free from their mysterious prison, they find themselves in a harsh, inhospitable landscape far from civilization. And they must survive. A shadowy enemy has put a target on the back of the Arrow squad - an enemy that cannot be permitted to succeed in its deadly campaign.

Aden will cross any line to keep his people safe for this new future, where even an assassin might have hope of a life beyond blood and death and pain. Zaira has no such hope. Her driving goal is to protect Aden - protect the only person who has ever come back for her no matter what. This time even Aden's passionate determination may not be enough - because the emotionless chill of Silence existed for a reason. For the violent and the insane and the irreparably broken...like Zaira.

This book really feels like the end of the series, it wraps up a majority of the character stories and sets the reader up for the Trinity series.

If you haven't read the other books, do not read this one! Unlike the other books in the series this one cannot stand alone, it doesn't have enough substance on any of the character pairs.

My only complaint is that one of the characters is Canadian and the narrator gave them a southern accent, I mean, sure, Calgarians are the concrete cowboys of the north but they don't sound like Georgia peaches.

Wraps it all up

It’s been about a year since I’ve read any of these books and not much has changed in this world. I thought when the Psy network crashed that everything was going to change but, the book was a little too reflective of real life. With rich men in the background as puppet masters pulling the strings and working both sides but always leaning in favour of money. Sadly war is the number one money maker and causing chaos was their way of trying to provoke it.
Again like most of these books I find them long winded, it probably could if been 1/2 the size.

I’m glad they found love but I also think it’s kinda funny how like every book ends with an engagement

Okay
