Loved the story
The storyline was absolutely amazing but the narration was horrendous. She sounds like her nose is plugged and you can hear her gulping her saliva.

not sure i can finish
i cant handle this narrator. she needs some cold medicine its aggravating. im 16 chapters in and i don't know if i can finish.

Needs an editor and a decongestant
It’s quite obvious the author is young and owns a thesaurus. She could really benefit from a good editor and some experience. I like the premise of the story, but it reads like fan fiction or self published work. The narrator seriously needs some antihistamines or decongestant as she sounds quite stuffed up while reading. She would also benefit from checking the pronunciation of the words she finds unfamiliar. It was entertaining for a free book set.

Chapters were a little long but enjoyable
I had to speed up the narration to 1.2 but she was able to switch between male and female characters quite nicely. I knew who each character was. I enjoyed it.

Love the story
This was a great series, the charaters are in their late 20's. Im in my 50's but I still enjoyed it. The twits and turns draw you in and keep you listening.
The narration was great, Jorjeana did a good job at sounding different for each charater. The love story doesnt take away from the task at hand.
Not a romance novel the adventure in each novel is the focus of the story not whether or not the couple lands in bed. They do but its not what is important.

Character development
What a find and well worth the time!
After listening to this I found myself wanting more. I bought the remaining three books and also the off shoot series by McKenzie Hunter.
If you enjoy fantasy novels then you will enjoy these!

Immature or new writer....not good at all!
Three chapters in and I knew this book was too immature for me. Ten chapters in and I knew I couldn’t continue the book. Too much unnecessary mystery to further the plot. A female lead that seems like a petulant child and “Alphas” that are ridiculously gruff. Not a well thought out book, and obviously written by a new or very young author. “ my house wasn’t ruled by dictatorship, my Mom ruled by logic” this sentence makes absolutely no sense and what adult says this? absolutely none.
unnecessary angst and petty thoughts and actions. It reads like it was written by a teenager trying to be an adult but not quite getting it because they’re a teenager and have no experience and most don’t think rationally. The story immediately started to drag and got boring.
the narration wasn’t any better. This is one of the first narrators that reads the editing mistakes. Her voice is suited to the teenage girl that the lead obviously is....regardless of the author stating she’s an adult who works an office job. I don’t believe the narrator even looked at the pages before reading, there were so many mid sentence pauses which are obviously a result of reading the sentence incorrectly. Also, the constant mic change was jarring.
No interest in reading anything further from this author...or listening to the narrator.

Horrendous
I can’t finish this book. On chapter ten and already bored and uninterested. I enjoy free downloads but this one is agonizing to listen to.
