About the Creator

Loved every second of it!

Why did it end?? I was listening along, loving all the dynamics and the characters, and then it was just done! I wanted more, I mean, the story was complete, and the couple in a good and happy place, but I could’ve spent hours more just hanging out with them. In a seemingly opposites attract, Core and Hellen had more in common in their souls then they realized. Outside of our couple, there were so many dynamics swirling around them, with the people in their lives, with their friends, with family. This should have made some things easier, but it didn’t; The things that it should have made complicated, actually worked to their advantage. Loved it all, especially all the shades of grey in life it showed us, and that while things may not go as planned, you can still be happy with the way things are <3

Cannot Get Enough

Smoke and Steel is awesome. Every time I listen to this storyline, I think wow, I can't believe I am at the end already. I want more! Kristen Ashley knows what she's doing, she developes her characters as though she is writing about real people, and she takes you on a journey of their lives. Love, love, love this book.

It was ok

I won’t return it but doubt I’d listen to it again. It has all the Kristen Ashley aspects of a story but lacked that special something that some of her books have. I didn’t believe the love story. I hope Ms Ashley still has another magic book in her. I’m much more hesitant to buy her books over the last few years but I will keep trying because when she finds that magic it is amazing. I re-read those books each year. They are like old friends. Much love.
