À propos de cet audio
So you've decided to become more self-sufficient, and you're fired up about growing your own food! You just have to stick the seeds in the ground and water them, right? So good I almost soiled myself ;-)
Soil Yourself by Maria Wihl is a great read (or listen) for anyone new to gardening or curious about soil health. I listened to the audiobook version, and it was an enjoyable listening experience. The book lives up to its name and it doesn't disappoint in delivering practical insights.
What stood out most to me as a personal highlight was the section on composting. Wihl presents the topic in a way that's both simple enough to actually put into practice and insightful enough to introduce fresh ideas, even for those who may already have some experience. It's an excellent guide that balances accessibility with depth. I'm excited to try some of the methods she recommends in my own garden.
Overall, this is a fantastic introduction to soil health, with valuable tips that I can actually use in my own garden. Highly recommended for anyone looking to improve their garden’s foundation with a solid, down-to-earth guide.
