To the Creshe Empire, I’m just a number.
I’ve spent the past five years in isolation and under study. With my home razed by a Syldrari attack, my mind damaged, and nothing but white walls and a viewing window around me, I dedicated myself to two things: training my body, and reading any book they allowed me to have.

I loved everything about this book
I loved everything about this book and need book 2, now please. As usual Annie Ellicott was amazing and to have the whole crew of Soundbooth Theater surrounding her lead made this book special. I found this audio because I was checking out Bonnie's page for book 2 of "one of the best audio ever" book called Fateseal that I was given for my birthday. (Friends and family know to buy me anything that is narrated by The Soundbooth Theater.)
Both books have an intricate plot line and the world building is so well done you can't help but get lost in the story and forget about time:)

really interesting but...
The writing was great, the narrators were amazing, but I just got fed up with all the men making the decisions for her, what she can know, what she eats, where she can go. Yeah, she's pretty much a prisoner, but it was her allies making these decisions. I slogged through %95 then just gave up.
