Solid lecture series, enjoy the presenters
Rather than employ a particular (verbalized) analytical lens, the two lecturers try to give context to Confessions, and to give it divisions or subcategories with which the work can be more easily understood. I really enjoyed it!

Great Listen on an important work
The two lecturers worked so well together. As soon as one finished making a point the other woukd step in. Both are amazing and they enriched each others presentations by adding additional detail or a different take throughout the course. I always found the Confessions to be a moving and important work for me personally but it is difficult to fully grasp. This course bridges the 4th century work for the modern reader. Will defibetly return to this course in my library many times!
