À propos de cet audio
Every one of us has traits that we don’t like about ourselves. Feeling this way is one thing, but the real question is: “How can I change?” In my experience, it's the trauma in our lives that often has the most impact on our mental health. Everybody, everywhere, has experiences with trauma that often stem from situations outside our control. These traumas can batter us and influence our feelings about ourselves and our place in the world. What I want to share is a set of methods and lessons to help change the way you understand and respond to past traumas, rather than allowing them to continue gnawing away at your mental health and self-image.
The truth is that the all-important first step is to be willing to change. If you are ready to take that step, then read on. My methods are based in equal parts on the life I had before I discovered my own willingness to change, and on the person I’ve become after taking those steps. I want to share the experiences that have served me so well in becoming a better version of myself.
Starts With You: How to Create Change in Your Life and Stop Waiting For It and Improve Your Thinking will offer you valuable insights like:
- How to understand and control your response to past trauma.
- How relationships affect your mental health, both positively and negatively.
- How you can take concrete steps towards positive growth.
- How you can set a course towards becoming your best self.
You can not only manage your relationship with past traumas, but set yourself up for the challenges that will inevitably come in the future. Wondering why your life is the way it is can lead you into a spiral, but holding yourself accountable and taking concrete steps towards change will leave you stronger than ever. If you don’t want to spend your life wondering why things are as they are, if you want to take control of your past and start looking to the future, all you need to know is that it starts with you.
