another boring American hero story
aren't we tired of this theme where America is bigger and better and smarter and tougher and ..... than life? I guess it sells. Such a disappointment, it was hard to stay awake.

Absolutely loved this book
I'm not usually a reader of suspense novels, but bought this because it was co-written by Ms. Clinton and Ms. Penny. I loved everything about it - the story line, the backgrounds which might not or might not be true, the wonderful description of real people (whose names have been changed to protect the .......), the amusing and sometimes downright hilarious similes. I do hope there will be a sequel.

Great book
One of the best books I have read in a long time! Didn’t want it to end, hope that there will be more to come from Ms Clinton and Ms Penny. Joan Allen was a terrific narrator!

a great listen
I loved the story. some parts were predictable, most not so much. it felt like it could be true to life. Especially the parts espousing the idiocy of a certain past president. I loved how it tied in a certain town featured in Louise Penny's previous novel

louise penny never disappoints
looking forward to more. I love that the reader could barely contain herself reading Eric Dunns part. I couldn't help but giggle myself. great story, great narrator, great author.
