A great start to a new series!

This was the perfect length for what a first in what I suspect a longer series should be! Bailey has created something very intriguing with her depiction of what the Fae are in this world. Their interactions and outlooks on magic and technology were something I hope to learn more about. Altair and Verity are going to be a firecracker duo of a hero and heroine! Altair has the perfect mixture of a commanding personality with the soft heart that I can't get enough of. While I also love how verity is a 'take-no-crap' woman. I can't wait to see how their stories become more complex! Please also give me more of this world to explore! Zachary did a great job capturing the disposition of an immortal king who has been beaten down by time while bringing a spark of life to Verity that infects Altair and brings his liveliness out again! I can't wait for more!
