It started out like any other morning on the train - until I became mesmerized by the guy sitting across the aisle. He was barking at someone on his phone like he ruled the world. Who did the stuck-up suit think he was...God?
Actually, he looked like a god. That was about it.
When his stop came, he got up suddenly and left. So suddenly, he dropped his phone on the way out. I might have picked it up. I might have gone through all of his photos and called some of the numbers. I might have held on to the mystery man's phone for days, until I finally conjured up the courage to return it.
When I traipsed my ass across town to his fancy company, he refused to see me. So, I left the phone on the empty desk outside the arrogant jerk's office. I might have also left behind a dirty picture on it first, though.
I didn't expect him to text back.
I didn't expect our exchanges to be hot as hell.
I didn't expect to fall for him - all before we even met.

A fun romance!
I liked this story, laughed out loud within the first 10 minutes and enjoyed the banter/txt a lot. These authors write the best banter and funny one liners. Soroya and Graham meet on a train, well she sees him and is instantly attracted to him. When he drops his cell phone, she picks it up with the intention of giving it back to him. This starts the story of their romance, but things happen that can't be avoided and turmoil ensues. It's a good read. I found Soroya a bit naive, or blinded too much. And Graham's obsession with sex a bit over the top. Which is why it did not get the 5 stars that these authors usually get from me. Love the narration!!

Annoying female lead

The story was decent, predicable
But the female lead was very annoying, I wasn’t a fan of her at all. Buddy literally got a tattoo of her name and she still was acting all, oh they could be a family, it was insufferable

Great Story!
Joe and Maxine are such a great pair to listen to. This story was well rounded, had all the ups and downs and laugh out loud moments. Great listen!

Same author same story line
its wasn't a bad story very predictable. It started off good but got a little dull in the middle. I have also read another book by these same authors and it had the exact same plot twist where the main Male character had an unknown child that created a lot of week drama. So,overall it was okay, but I probably wouldn't relisten to it.

Predictable, not as explicit as expected
This was a quick, easy listen. I enjoyed it, and wanted to finish it. I have to admit, that I expected it to include much more detailed sex scenes, based on the description and the start of the book. Oh well, still worth a listen for free.

Pleasantly surprised!
I was pleasantly surprised by this story! This was my first book from Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward. It had some funny sarcasm lines which were nice 👍🏻. It had some erotic elements, but not too much. I will be looking for another book of theirs since I enjoyed this one. Thanks!

Overall cute story
I like most of this authors books. No cursing or less swearing whichever word people prefer would make me enjoy the books more.
