À propos de cet audio
Our willpower is limited, yet we rely on it every day to get our tasks done. Even if we build willpower slowly over time, it's never enough to reach all of our goals. The solution lies in habit creation, the method by which we transform hard tasks into easy ones, making them automatic and independent of our will power. Each of us has millions of habits, in how we do our work, interact with others, perceive the world, and think about ourselves. Left unexamined, these habits are just as likely to hinder our progress as they are to push it along. Without a deliberate system for building habits, we become our own worst enemy.
Superhuman by Habit examines habit building in depth. It covers the principles and philosophies of habit building, as well as the practical nuts and bolts implementing those habits. The second half of the audiobook is dedicated to specific habits in every major area of life, covering the pros and cons of each, the path to implementing them, and specific notes about each one.

Superhuman by Anecdote
I found out about this book from Derek Siver's website (https://sivers.org/book) so I had unfairly high expectations.
Overall, I liked the book, found it interesting to listen to, and did appreciate the bite-sized habit examples - but very little was new vs other habits books. So, it made for a great synopsis or summary of other habit work.
However, with very few exceptions, there were no citations to literature or other books which have expressed almost identical habits/pros/cons/paths. Nor were there many references to psychology literature as to why some habits might be formed in certain ways.
There were no health references as to why people should take a certain amount of Vitamin D per day ("Take vitamin D every day. Take 10,000iu per day until you are no longer deficient then drop down to 5,000iu.") - but it did come with the caveat of "But I'm not a doctor".
Those items might not matter to a lot of people, but without those, this felt like a book of "this worked for me, maybe it will work for you". Also, without some of those references, or callbacks to the real world, and because of a few audio hiccups that were kept in - the book felt amateurish, like it was a very long blog post.

Why is this giving dietary guidelines
This book is supposed to be about habit forming, not nutritional guidance. I’m glad the author isn’t pushing a quack diet at least, but as someone who disagrees with more than a couple of his prescriptions I wasn’t interested in sitting through chapter after chapter about how to shift to his way of eating.
