Good read!

Strong start but to rushed of an ending.

Although I truly enjoy this book, the only critique I have would be to have put more thought and story into the second half of the book. I found it started off great but the second half I felt was rushed especially the ending. Aside from that it was a very enjoyable book.

Rushed second half

Christie Golden is a poet, by far the best author of the Warcraft novels. This one has a phenomenal first act with Sylvanas and her life before she was the Banshee Queen, but after that the story seems really rushed and a tad confusing. Still a good listen though.

It makes sense now

They should have included this in the game. Loved the book, and have always been and will always be a loyal Sylvanas fan. Of the Warcraft novels, this is favorite, albeit I'm bias because it's about my favorite character. For the Dark Lady, always.

Great backstory to Sylvanas.

Controversial, but I liked Shadowlands. Or maybe I just like seeing more of Sylvanas' story fleshed out. Having Patty Mattson read the novel is the cherry on top. Great experience.

Cleaning up Blizzard's mess

Golden does some heavy lifting tidying up Shadowland's horrendous storytelling and lore destruction. Well-done.

Really filled in the blanks for shadowlands.

Book had good pacing, narration. Pretty much summarizes the character story of Sylvanas. I saw the characters motivation in a new light.

Patty Mattson narrate my life pls

good read, but wish it was in the game

pretty decent read, great performance with wide range of personalities. the story feels bad for the fans since it ruined many fundemental greatness in the wow universe but its a decent story overal.
