overall cringey

Very dated and would have been better with a made up place and maybe a clear timeline to be relatable. It's clearly based in Canada and loosely on Toronto. They are in cottage country... so of course Ontario Police... yes because there is but one police department. If it's so rural, how long do you think the fire department takes?

This author wrote what she knew and not a lot of research into details that weren't related to her workplace experience and relationships. So many details that just don't add up. Ellie's age and the pop culture references are way off.

The protagonist is deeply wounded with mommy issues. Shocker. Reads like a Hallmark mystery instead of psychological thriller. The narrator is really what stands out, though even she cant save this story.

nice twist

the narrator was quite good at telling the story!!

the storyline made me feel like I was reading a movie. very good with an interesting twist. I wanted to know more about CB history and more about the accident. thank you Erin for making me crave more.

Loved it! I would give it 10 stars if I could!

This story was gripping from the minute it started. I absolutely loved it. Highly recommend the download. I really hope Erin Ruddy writes another book soon!
