À propos de cet audio
Do you ever wish you could rewrite your life?
Our lives are defined by the stories we tell ourselves, but those stories aren't always true. Narratives that are based on outdated or irrelevant information can run (or ruin) our lives for years, even if those stories are wildly different from the objective reality that formed them.
In her sixth book, Tell Yourself a Better Lie, best-selling author Marisa Peer shares for the first time how Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) creates stunning in-the-room turnarounds for issues as varied as suicidal depression, eating disorders, weight loss, and life-limiting phobias and addictions.
Through 10 diverse case studies, Marisa explains how our unmet needs as children can morph into fixed stories we tell ourselves in adulthood-and, more importantly, how we all have the power to change them. If you've been longing for a happier, more fulfilled life, pick up Tell Yourself a Better Lie and take control of your own story today.

Transformational
Read this book - it’s incredibly freeing. Marissa helps us identify old narratives that are unhelpful and holding us back in life. Very inspiring.

So worth your while
This information and delivery is a riveting trip down the change lane. Of course it’s very yin, very feminine in concept and delivery. Of course there had to be a better way than the plummeting into hell that we have all been born into in this century. Thank you, MP, for translating intuitive knowledge into action.

Many interesting ideas
The book contained many interesting ideas, but also a lot of promotional materials and at parts felt like a sales pitch for RTT training. Stil, worth a listen and I found tips and ideas for me.

Profound, Insightful, Amazing.
In this book Marisa details through case studies the simple yet profound way that we form beliefs about ourselves that work, often without our knowing, to shape our very lives.
This book is an incredible glimpse into not only the minds of her clients, but also into the brilliant mind that created Rapid Transformational Therapy or RTT for short.
Through stories, insights and explanations using natural language Marisa details her journey and thought process that lead her to many of the tools she now uses as well as the underlying philosophy and framework to her therapeutic practice.
This book has immense value to both therapists and the average person as Marisa so simply and eloquently demonstrates a key truth, just because a problem seems complex doesn't mean the treatment has to be complex. This goes right to the heart of the issue as so often the negative things we experience in our lives seem complex but in truth stem from simple feelings and beliefs for which the treatment is to reframe your story and Tell Yourself a Better Lie.
